The Lioness
..until, one day, what Anubis announced would happen. See, when I got started with tantra, I realized immediately it worked. Of course, a Buddhist tradition, its meditations had worked for milleniums already. And I also realized Tarots seemed to want to say meaningful things. How handy. And one day, when asking them what would come to pass for me in 2012..
Tarots said I would die. Which scared the bejesus out of me - I ran to my mentor. I asked him. I wasn't able to astral travel, training and unable yet. So he went to visit Anubis, a Prophet and guide of the dead, and discovered...
...That my destiny was not to die. That I was to enter Chapel Perilous and pass the proof of Truth, the Egyptian weighing of the heart - when Anubis watches the scales, Thoth writes down the deeds of someone, and their heart are weighed against the feather "Maat", order and universal truth, the one who must not generate karma. Maat is someone who should never be contacted directly, she must generate no karma.
Anyway, I knew that much about Egyptian mythology, but I was cool with Anubis telling stuff to my mentor, and found these dreams he was mistaking for astral travel entertaining. Obviously he had some powers, but astral travel and 12 Gods?-) I found it cute.
And still interesting, intriguing, I kept meditating. That one night, I had a call from my partner at the moment, after a few days of weird "cross dreams communication" when she would see a Dark Dragon or a wolf or me talking to her in her dreams. Hung up the phone, started my meditation, found my body relaxed to sleep... saw an eye. Was it a cat's eye? Was it a human eye? The skin was black, and there was that feminine, suave voice telling me to come...
I found myself in a green living room. Perfectly conscious, but my body sound asleep. I figured "nice antiques, what's that?" And then there was that cat, dark grey, walking down a stairway. Which turned into a cheetah. Then a lion, I figured "wow, am heavy on the hallucinations in that meditative state", walls disappeared and turned to a white light, and then...
The white light gone, before me was a gigantic woman with a cat head. We were on a plateau, a sea of fog, and through that sea, I could see the Yggdrasil and my Dragon body. I was completely mesmerized and listening to what she was trying to say, getting used to this new condition, starting to think about my body, "let's learn how to move in the astral"... But I wasn't in the astral. I had no single trace of a body to me - there was nothing but my single consciousness as a dot in infinity. I completely freaked out and at the question "where is my body!!!!?" - plopped back instantly through my third eye and opened my eyes.
